Qigong is great for activating the vital energy routes of the body.
Tao Yin is a combination of exercise and breath-work in the Taoist tradition from ancient China. It’s sometimes referred to as Taoist Yoga.
It relaxes the body, opens the meridians and clears the mind. Tao Yin helps direct energy or chi within the body for healing and restorative purposes. It places emphasis on developing strength and suppleness of the psoas muscle, which has a great impact on posture as well as supporting and holding the internal organs. It is a great way to support your spinal health.
Tao Yin postures are done either lying or sitting. You will also benefit from the breathing practices that bring a sense of calm and for self-healing.
